King bed was comfortable , however, the pillows were standard size and were lumpy. Liked that the floors were lino instead of carpet. Furniture was banged up. The room was clean but a little rough. The continental breakfast was a disappointment. The up side is the Cactus Club Cafe was next door and The Keg was in walking distance. Staff were friendly. Probably will not return. 🤷♀️

Unfortunately we regretted going to this Holiday Inn. We went for a family getaway and had several issues. We spent over $200 a night for a king room with a discounted rate. The kids were so excited for the pool and hot tub but the pool was freezing and the hot tub was closed (we were not informed about that). The tv’s are so old, they barely worked. Half of the hotel is under construction and we were not informed prior to arriving. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the large bottles on the shower. The front desk staff were kind which was nice. Buy due to all the other concerns, we won’t return to this hotel.

Stayed overnight for our stop over before proceeding to Red Deer. Booked a connecting room in the 4th floor, rooms are modest and clean. Had a swift check in. Breakfast with modest selections. Pool is a plus for my kids. Place is not in the center. There’s some construction around but there’s walkable fast foods and coffee shop nearby.

Construction equipment and containers littering and blocking the parking lot (see pic) Hotel seems like it needs an upgrade and is shoeing its age. Breakfast was ok but scrambled eggs were cold. Strange billing process and an authorization was taken on my credit card some days ahead of my stay and full amount was charged when I checked in. Internet speed was ridiculously slow and not good for business work or virtual meetings I can’t recommend this hotel in its current state.

Stayed here New Years Eve and had a great stay. The front desk staff were awesome and my suite was very nice. They had a good selection of movies on tv I watched Maverick. I'll be back this year again.
